CUBA – Cayo Largo del Sur The island is a paradise island, lain 180 km before the Caribbean coast Cubas . It is 25 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide with marvelously unending, snow-white powder sugar beaches, settled
on the second big Barrier-Riff worldwide, the Canarreos Archipel. To surround of splendid lagoons and many sandbanks, it is suitable for swimming and diving ideally. The island is built on 7 hotel installations of the 3 to 5 *, that now bigger developed airport and a residential settlement with the Island-Marina (harbor) as well as the restaurant installation lying in Playa Sirena. The island is served from all big airports Cubas with several machines on the day. Many
trippers from the tourism centers of Cubas have time daily for swimming on the Playa Sirena. Also the center with all sport possibilities of the island is there.
Playa Sirena - the perfect Eiland
Over the day a bus as well as a boat transfer goes several times from the hotels to the beach paradise Playa Sirena. The Playa Sirena is the perfect place for sun, beach and water. Transfer Cayo Largo:
From the La Habana airport it goes first to your overnight stay hotel in Havana. In the next morning, it goes to the AirCaribe-Airport with continuation to the island Cayo Largo. The transfer flight lasts approximately 45 minutes. After the arrival, you are brought directly into your respective hotel from the airport. (Travel management waiting at the airport). From the airport coming on the single connection street of the island, the hotel installations are a bit restored from the street and usually only from wood bridges separated, kilometer long, fine-sandy beaches welcomes you with

Las Cuberas (10/33) Description of the bottom: The waters around the Cuban archipelago are characterized by their gentleness – mild tides and no strong currents -, their warmth over 24°C all year round, their virgin conditions - no pollution and well – preserved bottoms -, the diversity of its underwater flora and fauna,
and the total absence of aggressive animals. In Cayo Largo del Sur the dive zone is divided into three areas. The first one is located near the key, with typical coral borroms, barrier reefs, ridges and channels that form 18 meters ( 59 feet) deepform a curious sandy slope that falls into 33 meters ( 108 feet) deep, then it goes up as big coral mountains, forming the drop-off Brain, pillar, leaf and mountainous star corals together with feather-like
gorgonians, sea fans and many other species are easily found. Fish are represented by schools of grunts, snappers, schoolmasters, dogsnappers, surgeofish, chromis and other coral fish, in some seasons you can also see the turtles, tarpons, eagle rays and stingrays.many lobsters, crabs and morays can be found in the rocky crevices and also queen conch colonies in the sand patches.
The secund dive area is located near Cayo Rosario, 29 Km. ( 18 Miles) to the West, with a very particular sea bottom at 18 meters ( 59 feet) deep, where coral billocks form a real labyrinth, the natural place where big black groupers, cubera snappers, dogsnappers, group of jacks, grunts, black margates, margates and porkfish swim. The third area is 48 Km ( 30 miles) Northeast, near Cayo Sigua and Cayos Blancos, on the western side of Golfo de
Cazones. All of them are spectacular wall dive sites, that falls sharply from 15 meters ( 49 feet) up to more than 200 meters ( 6656 feet) deep where big tube, basket and branch sponges, beautiful deep gorgonians and black coral colonies can be seen. Cubera snappers, barracudas, shoals of spadefish and many other coral fish swim around the drop-off and the wall.
