For the Yacht fleet it was decided for this popular yachts line from Germany at Cuba also as in many other destinations. The Bavaria 50 has five cabins, the Bavaria 47 four cabins, and the completely new design Bavaria 44 also has four cabins. The  fleet is completed with the catamarans Athena 38, Lagoon 380 + 410.

Equipment, Additional Offers

In addition to the excellent standard of equipment included in the prices of our Sailing Fleet in Cuba such as furling mainsail, furling genoa, dinghy with outboard, electric windlass as well as autopilot and GPS chart plotter, the Platten Sailing Cuba yachts were made fit for the tropics. All ships in Cuba have bimini, sprayhood and an improved cooling that operates the refrigerator with electricity and an icemaster compressor system (except Athena 38). Other useful or entertaining details are a gas barbecue and a CD player with inside and outside speakers. The 220 V power hookup can be used in all marinas. Linen and towels are furnished in order to keep your "overseas baggage" small.

The Cuban government presently rises a 6 CUC-per-day cruising tax from each person aboard to be paid at the base. Additional costs only are created by hiring an experienced local skipper or marinero. We suggest to order provisioning in advance from your food list. Transfers of the complete crew from and to the airports/orother Cuban city can be arranged at markedly low prices from us. We can and will also provide for other additional opportunities like excursions to attractive sights and attractions in the surroundings of Cienfuegos or Cuba, by renting diving equipment and dicovering some of the world's best diving spots with a professional diving guide or instructor.
